Back country | Snowcat SKI tours
Enjoy a full day of back country skiing from the top of Vail Pass. Transportation is provided to and from Resolution Bowl. A gourmet lunch is provided. Powder skis are suggested and advanced intermediate skiing ability is a must. Advance reservations are necessary due to limited space and growing popularity. With breathtaking scenery, world class terrain, and a dedicated crew, this adventure is one not to be forgotten. $250.00 per person, five skier minimum and the snow cat holds up to 12 guests.
Snowmobile Tours
Nova Guides offers 1 and 2 hour tours on more than 50 miles of groomed trails in the White River National Forest. Enjoy a hot beverage and spectacular views of Vail’s Back Bowls, Notch Mountain, and four surrounding mountain ranges at the Tigiwon Cabin built in the 1930’s. 2-hour ride includes: transportation, professional guide, snowmobile, snowsuit, boots, helmet, and a hot beverage midway at the cabin. Children must be 14 years of age to drive their own snowmobile. Pick up times are 8 AM, 9 AM, 11 AM, 1:30 PM, and 3 PM. Other types of trips are available.
