Ice Skating options in Beaver Creek and Vail

Beaver Creek: Black Family Ice Rink is located in the center of Beaver Creek Village. A special Zamboni (with its own luxurious accommodations at the end of the rink) prepares the ice every three hours. Rink dimensions: 150 feet x 65 feet. This outdoor rink is open from 10:00am to 9:00pm. Summer hours to ice skate are 6:00pm - 10:00pm. 970-845-0438

Look for Family Night at the Firepits, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm on Mondays, Disco Skate Night on Fridays and Mondays from 6:00pm- 8:00pm. Warm up at the fire pits afterwards, and enjoy a warm cup of hot chocolate or a cup of soup from Sopa Toscana's take out window!

Vail: Located in Vail, near Lionshead, this indoor ice arena hosts hockey and open skate times. Contact the concierge for dates and times available. Adventure Ridge at the top of Vail Mountain has outdoor ice skating in the winter months, as does Arrabelle in Lionshead.

Avon: When Nottingham Lake freezes, usually by January, ice skating and skate rentals are available daily. Please call the Town of Avon for conditions and hours. 970-748-4060
