Mountain Biking
Bike in the Rocky Mountains
Summer in Beaver Creek wouldn't be complete without a bike ride on one of the numerous trails around on the mountain and around town. Front-suspension and full-suspension bikes are available to rent at various shops in Beaver Creek Village, as are helmets. Experience Beaver Creek's paved paths or challenging ascents and technical descents. Beaver Creek has mountain biking for every level.
Road biking in the Vail Valley is another warm weather activity. A paved multi-use path runs along the west side of Village Road, from Highway 6 to Beaver Creek Village, about 3 miles. Keep in mind that this path is also used by walkers and runners. Road riding is also available in scenic Glenwood Canyon, Vail Pass, and a network of bike trails and paths in Avon and Vail.
Road biking paths and mountain bike trails can be found at Eagle County's EcoSports Website.
